Wilma Riley A MAN accused of murdering an 80-year-old woman in her country cottage claimed in an apparent suicide note that he was scared of being blamed for something he had not done, a court has heard.
Kean has pleaded not guilty at the High Court in Glasgow to murdering Mrs Methven, of Forteviot, Perthshire, on February 20.
Jurors in the murder trial heard last week how Kean slashed one of his wrists and took an overdose of paracetamol while working at a house in the village on March 19.
