Thousands watched the now-traditional 45-minute concert with fireworks rising to 750ft and the Scottish Chamber Orchestra providing a musical accompaniment.
To mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, the programme included Orb & Sceptre, written for her coronation in 1953.
