Take a bow
A 17-year-old violinist has another added another string to her bow by winning a prestigious music prize.
Laura Ayoub, 17, from Bearsden, East Dunbartonshire, who has already played with classical Nicola Benedetti won the String Solos Premier section at the Glasgow Music Festival.
The pupil from Douglas Academy in Milngavie will play alongside Ms Benedetti at the City Halls later this month. She has also played at the SECC, Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, and Usher Hall in Edinburgh.
