Talks under way to avert tanker strike

NEW talks are under way in a bid to avert a three-day strike by tanker drivers at the Grangemouth refinery which could lead to fuel shortages.

Unite union said representatives met with BP, but could not say if a deal over pay and conditions would be reached. The row is over pensions and the loss of a share scheme.
