Team Scotland cyclist celebrates with proposal

Love was in the air on the final night of Commonwealth Games track cycling at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome in Glasgow.

Following his race in the 'B' final of the Keiren, Scotland's Chris Prichard, who had finished in ninth place, rode around the track to where his girlfriend Amanda was watching in the crowd.

The 31-year-old from Sheffield took the moment to ask the question, the answer to which was greeted with cheers around the venue that has its own 'Kiss Cam' on the giant screen to help keep the crowd entertained in between races.

Prichard was not the only one in romantic mood, with it also emerging Para-Sport Sprint B2 1000m Time Trial Tandem silver medallist Aileen McGlynn had also got engaged to her partner Graham.
