A 14-YEAR-OLD boy has been arrested over an alleged racist attack on two Muslim women.
It is alleged he shouted abuse at the women and tried to remove their headscarves in the Wester Hailes area of Edinburgh on Thursday.
The teenager was charged over the incident yesterday.
Inspector Stevie Dolan said: "I would like to thank the local community who responded to our appeal and gave us the information we required.
"It is thanks to the information they provided that we have been able to arrest and charge someone, and a report will be submitted to the procurator-fiscal."
