The journey continues

A young girl holds the Queen's Baton following a church service in Apia, on the island of Samoa in the South Pacific Ocean yesterday.

Samoa is now the 14th country to be visited on the baton's journey as it travels to each of the 70 Commonwealth nations and territories before it returns to Glasgow ahead of next year's Commonwealth Games.

The baton's next destination is New Zealand on Wednesday, before it travels on to Kiribati on December 2 and the Cook Islands on December 5.
