The baton Usain Bolt used to sprint to victory with during the Glasgow 2014 relay has sold for £2420.

The baton is part of a cornucopia of Commonwealth Games collectables being auctioned off to help fund the cost of hosting the event.

Alongside Bolt's baton, a selection of flags, signed items, chairs used in the athletes ceremony and porridge oats bagpipes are also up for grabs.

Lifesized Clyde mascots are currently proving popular too - with one spiky haired statue signed by Sir Chris Hoy attracting 54 bids and currently costing £1755.

This weekend will see several prominent items finish, including the colourful tents used in the Closing Ceremony, discuses and bowling gloves.
