The pupils were at the Scotland Street School Museum to meet actress Emma Thompson and hear her read her new book, The Further Tale of Peter Rabbit, a continuation of Beatrix Potter's stories.
Thompson, 53, who has a home in Argyll, was also in Glasgow to launch a new exhibition at the museum to mark the 110th anniversary of the publication of the first Peter Rabbit Book.
