THE children from Pollokshields Primary School in Glasgow may not have realised it, but yesterday's story time was probably one of the best they've ever had.
The pupils were at the Scotland Street School Museum to meet actress Emma Thompson and hear her read her new book, The Further Tale of Peter Rabbit, a continuation of Beatrix Potter's stories.
Thompson, 53, who has a home in Argyll, was also in Glasgow to launch a new exhibition at the museum to mark the 110th anniversary of the publication of the first Peter Rabbit Book.
