THREE men have been arrested after police seized drugs which could have fetched an estimated
£3 million on the streets.
Class A drugs worth more than £410,000 were found in a search of four properties in Renfrewshire and North Lanarkshire on Friday.
Detectives said a mixing agent was also recovered, which had the potential to boost the street value of the drugs to around £3m.
A man aged 32 was arrested after heroin and cocaine worth £250,000 and a gun were found at a business in Macdowall Street, Johnstone. £76,000-worth of drugs, mixing agent, firearms and cash were seized from a house in St Anne's Wynd, Erskine. A man aged 42 was arrested.
A 55-year-old man was arrested after heroin with a street value of £93,000 was discovered at a house in Laverock Terrace, Chryston.
All three men will appear in court tomorrow.
