Three in court over death of homeless man whose body was found in the River Clyde

THREE people are due to appear in court today in connection with the death of a homeless man.

The body of 41-year-old Scott McGuire was discovered in the River Clyde in Glasgow city centre.

Two men - aged 38 and 32 - and a 30-year-old woman have been arrested and are presently detained in police custody.

Mr McGuire's body was found on Tuesday July 8.

All three are expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court later today.

Police confirmed a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
