Three men have appeared in court charged with the murder of a man found dead in a seaside town.
Scott Blackwood, 30, was found dead in a house in Saltcoats, North Ayrshire, last Thursday.
Allan Nicol, 35, Martin McGowan, 27, and Thomas Sean Moore, 26, all from Saltcoats, appeared at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court today charged with murder and attempting to pervert the course of justice.
The men made no plea and no declaration and the case was continued for further examination. All three were remanded in custody and are due to appear in court again on July 17.
Police were called to a report of a disturbance within a house in Wheatley Road, Saltcoats, at around 4.50am on July 4.
Emergency services attended to Mr Blackwood, who lived on Wheatley Road, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
