Three further members of a gang have been sentenced to a total of 42 years in prison for supplying cocaine and heroin in Dundee.

Steven Barnie, 24, was sentenced to three years, Liam Gray, 26, six years, and Stephen Quinn, 30, five years and three months after police recovered 8.5 kilogrammes of heroin worth about £851,000, 1.2 kilogrammes of cocaine with a street value of £61,500 and over £28,000 in cash.

Another member, Claire Breen, 29, must carry out 300 hours of unpaid work.

Seven other members were jailed last year.

Detective Inspector Scott Thomson from Police Scotlnad's Organised Crime and Counter Terrorism Unit (OCCTU) said the covert police operation had been a "major success against disrupting the supplying of cocaine and heroin in Tayside."
