Some of Scotland's top musicians are preparing to bring their shows back home in 2013.

T in the Park 

A haven for many music fans, the Balado festival will run from July 11-14. Acts already confirmed including The Killers, Mumford and Sons, Rihanna, Alt-J and Emeli Sande.

Amy Macdonald

The Bishopbriggs singer/songwriter will play Edinburgh’s HMV Picture House on March 5 and the Aberdeen Music Hall on March 6 in support of her third album, Life in a Beautiful Light.

Biffy Clyro

Following the release of their much anticipated new album, Opposites, in January, the Kilmarnock rockers will play Aberdeen’s AECC on March 31 and Glasgow’s SECC on April 1.

Simple Minds

The Scottish group will bring their Greatest Hits tour to the Aberdeen Music Hall and Dundee’s Caird Hall on April 1 and April 2.

Tickets: £37.50

Big Country

As part of their latest Journey tour, the Dunfermline band will take to the stage at Glasgow’s O2 ABC and the Lemon Tree in Aberdeen on April 12 and 13.

The Fratellis

After a much-anticipated reunion, the Glasgow three-piece return to the Barrowlands with their infectious pop songs on April 19.

Frightened Rabbit

The indie rock band from Selkirk will play the HMV Picture House in Edinburgh on February 26 and the Barrowlands in Glasgow on February 28 in support of their new album, Pedestrian Verse.

Emeli Sande

Following her phenomenal success in 2012, the Aberdeenshire songstress will play Edinburgh’s Usher Hall on April 1.

Edwyn Collins

The former Orange Juice frontman will perform at Glasgow’s O2 ABC on April 18 following the release of his eighth studio album, Understated, in March.

Tickets: £18.50

Roddy Woomble

The Ayrshire rocker turned folk musician will play Glasgow’s Oran Mor on May 10. The gig follows the release of the former Idlewild frontman's third solo album, Listen to Keep, in March.
