Train cleaners plan strike

Workers who clean trains on two of the country's busiest rail routes are to stage a 24-hour strike over pay.

Members of the Rail Maritime and Transport union (RMT) employed by contractors ISS on East Coast and London Midland will walk out on Monday.

The cleaners voted to strike after the union said no pay rise would be on offer for three years.
