Tributes paid after death of mother

A FAMILY paid tribute to a mother after police confirmed a body found in a wood was that of the woman who had been missing for nearly two weeks.

Heather McKay, 51, was last seen at her friend's home in Craiglaw, Dechmont in West Lothian on August 24.

Police search teams and members of Borders Search and Rescue were involved in looking for the missing mother when the discovery was made on Tuesday.
