THE devastated family of a woman murdered by her ex-partner who then took his own life described her as "a friend to everyone".
Jennifer Rennie, 26, was found at her home in Rosyth, Fife, just weeks after the couple split.
The body of 41-year-old Scott Simpson was found at his house in nearby Dalgety Bay. The couple's five-year-old daughter and son aged one were at their mother's home when she was killed, sources said.
