ScotS singer KT Tunstall has paid tribute to her "brilliant" father, who died last week.
The bereavement had forced the Ivor Novello award-winning star to pull out of the Shrewsbury Folk Festival the day before she was due to appear.
She has now revealed to her 50,000 Twitter followers she is still mourning her father David, a physics lecturer at St Andrews University.
