Mountain rescue teams find two climbers missing in Cairngorms

Mountain rescue teams have found two climbers who were reported missing in the Cairngorms.

is under way in the Cairngorms after two climbers failed to return last night.

The alarm was raised at 6.30pm on Wednesday by two members of a party of four who had been walking in the Loch A'an area of the Cairngorms after the climbers failed to return.

Cairngorm Mountain Rescue team has now confirmed the climbers have been found.

A spokesperson said: "The missing climbers have been found and are being escorted off the hill."

The Cairngorm and Braemar mountain rescue teams were supported by a search and rescue helicopter from RAF Lossiemouth.
