Two more pubs make 2012 guide

TWO more hostelries in Scotland have made the Michelin Eating Out in Pubs Guide 2012, taking the total to 19.

The Sun Inn in Dalkeith, Midlothian, and the Tormaukin Inn at Glendevon in Perth and Kinross both join the prestigious list of pubs around the country.

There were 86 new pubs added this year to take the guide’s total to 530 pubs elected for the quality of their food. The Sun Inn was opened by Ian Minto and his son Craig in 2008 and they say they strive for “the high-endness of a Michelin-starred” eaterie but with the rusticity of a friendly pub and with local suppliers being key.
