TWO women have been taken to hospital after a car crashed into a bus stop in Glasgow.

The incident happened in one of the city's busiest routes, Maryhill Road.

Police and ambulances attended the scene of at Maryhill Road, Glasgow to deal

with the incident at around 8.45pm tonight.

Police Scotland had no further details last night.

However, a spokesman for Police Scotland said: "A driver has collided with a bus stop.

"He would appear to have lost control of the vehicle and struck two female pedestrians waiting at the bus stop."

He added the conditions of the injured are not thought to be life threatening.
