BRITAIN has announced £10 million funding to help Haiti on the third anniversary of the earthquake.

The UK Government funding will help the United Nations rebuild the country's disaster resilience and assist its government in responding to urgent needs on the ground.

The funding will help efforts to resettle displaced people, with more than 350,000 refugees still in camps established after the 2010 earthquake.

The money will also go towards stimulating the private sector by making it more engaged in disaster risk management and .address food insecurity.
