Venue fit for a king

PAUL McBain gets into character at Elgin Cathedral ahead of an outdoor performance of the Scottish play.

The actor will play the lead in a special production of Macbeth at the historic attraction - close to the heart of the real-life action Shakespeare's play reinvents.

Tickets for the July 17 show, which is part of this summer's Homecoming 2014 celebrations, are still available through Historic Scotland and Illyria, which is famous for its lavish outdoor productions of the Bard's work.
