A dog skeleton, canine pacemaker and anaesthetic tubes used to put animals to sleep before surgery are on display to the public as the Glasgow University vet school marks its milestone birthday.
The exhibition coincides with the publication of a book on research breakthroughs at the school. It has contributions from some of its most famous graduates, among them author James Herriott and David Jawara, a future president of Gambia.
