The BBC said Vine, a former Newsnight presenter who now hosts a Radio 2 show, will stand in on Sunday following on from James Landale who presented the show last weekend. A BBC spokeswoman said: "Andrew is continuing to make progress."
Jeremy Vine will host this weekend's edition of The Andrew Marr Show as the broadcaster continues to make progress after his stroke.
