Would you like to enjoy an exclusive dinner with one of Scotland's best-known television and film actors?

This latest prize in our charity auction with Unicef is a meal at a Glasgow restaurant with Martin Compston, star of the acclaimed BBC television series Line of Duty.

Martin rose to fame playing the lead role in Ken Loach's film Sweet Sixteen in 2002, which attracted great success at the Cannes Film Festival.

Since then he's appeared in Monarch of the Glen, was nominated as Best Actor at the 2006 British Independent Film Awards for his performance in True North, and most recently appeared in the lead role in Scottish gangster film The Wee Man.

The top bidder for this exclusive prize will enjoy dinner with Martin (and a representative of the Sunday Herald) at a mutually agreeable time and place. He or she will also receive a signed copy of the DVD box set of series 1 and 2 of Line of Duty.

All money raised will go to Unicef, an official charity partner of the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, to help fund its work with the children of the Commonwealth.
