Warning about tap water

RESIDENTS of a housing estate have been urged not to use tap water after Scottish Water identified problems with its quality.

Some 200 households on the Woodilee estate in Kirkintilloch, East Dunbartonshire have been affected by the problem, which led to supplies being shut down.

Scottish Water has advised people not to cook, wash or bathe with tap water as a precaution following complaints about its taste, odour and appearance.
