FOUR people suffered smoke inhalation after four separate fires in less than 12 hours.

Scottish Fire and Rescue Service warned about the danger of kitchen fires after crews were sent to deal with the blazes in Paisley, Mansewood, Hamilton and Mosspark between 5pm on Wednesday and 5am yesterday.

None of the residents were seriously injured, with each receiving treatment at the scene and one being taken to the Victoria Infirmary in Glasgow.

An SFRS spokesman said: "These incidents are a clear reminder for us all that fire can happen to us and we need to take action to keep ourselves and those around us safe."
