The final pieces of the establishment of the nation’s new arts funding body, Creative Scotland, were put in place yesterday with a new chairman and board.
Andrew Dixon, its chief executive, said the new board represented a wide artistic, business and geographical spectrum.
Sir Sandy Crombie, an independent director of the Royal Bank of Scotland and former chief executive of Standard Life, is to be chairman.
