EDINBURGH zoo keepers are celebrating the arrival of a baby L'Hoest's monkey.

Mother and father, Tumbili and Kizizi, welcomed their second baby at the end of September after being introduced to each other in 2010. However, at just more than three weeks old, the baby is still snuggled firmly into its mother meaning keepers have not been able to established if the primate is a boy or girl yet.

The rare species is native to Rwanda, Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
