A SIX-litre Lalique decanter filled with the finest Macallan fetched nearly £400,000 at Sotheby's in Hong Kong - a new world record for a single malt whisky.
The 16.8 kilogram Constantine Imperiale crystal decanter will serve 300 20ml drams. Forty were created by Lalique and all but four were destroyed.
