Whose oil is it anyway?

Looking eastward from the A9 heading to Wick, you can glimpse Scotland's oil industry.

On the road from Brora to Helmsdale, the observer can see, a few miles out in the Moray Firth, the platforms of the Beatrice Field on the grey horizon. At night it is a necklace of tiny orange lights.
