Winning smile

GARETH Montgomerie celebrates with a big smile after winning the cyclocross race Dig in at the Dock.

The cyclist, from Castle Douglas, raced to the front at the third event at Bo'ness, before encountering obstacles designed to force competitors to dismount and race on foot.

After receiving congratulatory messages on Twitter, he posted: "Never been this popular on twitter before!"

Dig in at the Dock attracts riders from across the UK and Ireland, including champions.
