Woman, 77, knocked down in hit-and-run

An elderly woman has been struck by a car in what police say was a hit-and-run.

The 77-year-old was walking in Seedhill Road in Paisley, near the junction with Lacey Street, when she was hit at around 5.05pm on Friday.

The car, described as dark and medium-sized, failed to stop and continued towards Mill Street.
