Woman killed in A75 crash named

A WOMAN killed in a crash on the A75 in Dumfries has been named as Lynne Trainor.

The 50-year-old, from Rashgill, Locharbriggs, died in the collision involving two cars and an articulated tanker at around 1.10pm on Tuesday. The road was closed for several hours. Police have appealed for witnesses.
