Woman killed on A90 is named

POLICE have named a 20-year-old woman who was found dead next to a major road in Aberdeenshire.

The body of Charlotte Louise Tennant, from the Laurencekirk area, was found close to the A90 at Laurencekirk at around 8am on Saturday morning.

Investigations are continuing into the cause of her death, but Grampian Police have said her injuries suggest she had been struck by a vehicle.
