Inverness's historic Town House is to be wrapped in material depicting a full-sized image of its frontage to prevent it becoming an eyesore.

Work starts this week on the first phase of the £4.2 million three year project to "maintain the structure and public safety" of the historic A-listed building. Highland Council's Development and Infrastructure Service, which is managing the programme of works, came up with the plan.
