Young relish voice against violence

"It is amazing how uplifting it feels to speak out", says Katie Hodgkins, 19, a member of the Scottish Government-backed Voice Against Violence group.

“It is isolating to be a young person with experience of domestic abuse, you feel completely on your own, but you are really not.”

The group of eight young Scots, aged 15-21, will hold their Big Bang event at the Scottish Parliament today as they celebrate two years of work with the Scottish Government and the Coalition of Scottish Local Authorities (Cosla).
