2014 is going to be a huge year for Scotland, with the Year of the Homecoming, the Commonwealth Games and the MTV Europe Music Awards being just some of the exciting events to add to your calendar.
TV and Film highlights will include the final installation of The Hobbit, the latest X-Men and the new Marvel film, Guardians of the Galaxy- starring our very own Karen Gillan.
Music superstars such as Beyonce, Katy Perry and Dolly Parton are all scheduled to perform in 2014, as well as homegrown talent such as Chvrches, Nina Nesbitt and Franz Ferdinand.
