Rail services are set to return to normal after Scotrail announced they have reopened the line between Glasgow Queen street and Croy, but commuters have been told there will be no trains calling at Bishopbriggs.

The route was shut down after emergency services had to respond to a pedestrian who had been hit on the line between Bishopbriggs and Croy, affecting numerous services between Queen Street and Edinburgh.

The rail operator has said that whilst work is ongoing to resume services, commuters should continue to check if their journey is affected by visiting their website at http://www.journeycheck.com/scotrail/.
