Drivers are being urged to be cautious as Scotland prepares itself for more snow.

Those driving on higher ground have been warned that snow is expected on routes above 200-300m, with the A9, A93, A95, A889 and A86 among the roads that are set to be affected.

Thousands of homes throughout Britain are still without power as torrential rain and winds of up to 100mph lashed swathes of the country as a result of Storm Imogen.

The Met Office has said that temperatures are now set to get colder throughout the week with frost in sheltered areas.

The warning comes less than two weeks after Storm Henry battered the country causing travel chaos.
