A panicked mother was forced to call emergency services for help when she locked her baby in her home.
Fire crews raced to the rescue of the mum whose young child was mistakenly locked inside a house on Kyleakin Road.
SFRS was contacted by police after the woman raised the alarm on Friday afternoon.
A crew from Pollok used specialist tools to safely open the door of the property and reunite mother and child.
The operation took just 10 minutes and firefighters returned to base at 12.36pm.
