Scotland's first cereal cafe has opened in Glasgow.

Black Vanilla has opened up in Duke Street in the city's East End.

The new venue offers over well-known British brands as well as American cereal including Reese's Puffs, Lucky Charms and Captain Crunch.

The cafe, which will be open from noon until 10pm every day, also offers milk shakes, cakes, flavoured milks and waffles.

It's owners claim the new bar is the first cereal cafe in Scotland.

Posting on Facebook, the bar said: "With over 40 British & American brands to chose from we are guaranteed to blow your mind.

"Whether it’s our mouthwatering homemade Cheesecakes, our fantastic selection of Soave ice cream, the retro sweet selection or Unique Milkshake creations, we guarantee you will be addicted after your first visit."

Cereal bars have already proved to be very popular in the UK, with several opening in London.
