This is the heartbreaking moment an 83-year-old dementia sufferer breaks down when her granddaughter gives her a talking teddy - with her late husband's voice.

Jean Walters was originally given the cuddly bear by her granddaughter Abbie Webb ten years ago, a month before her husband Dennis died of lung cancer in 2005.

When squeezed, the soft toy plays a clip of Dennis saying: "You're the best girl in the world for me," - something he wrote in letters to Jean during his time in the Army.

Grandmother Jean would listen to the soundbite every day to feel close to her sweetheart. She was distraught when the recording stopped working six weeks ago and the family  was told it couldn't be fixed, fearing she would never hear Dennis's voice again.
