A DOGGY party was held in a Glasgow park to welcome home a pooch who was missing for several days.
Buster and his furry friends held a celebration in Rouken Glen Park on Thursday evening to celebrate the adorable Shih-Poo pup being reunited with his owners Gordon and Pauline Brannan, from Busby.
The dog, who is a cross between a Poodle and Shih Tzu, became a viral hit after he vanished when he was out walking with his owner Gordon on Friday, June 24 at around 8pm.
A Facebook page was set up to find the dog and the family handed out posters door-to-door in the area surrounding the park.
Days later, however, Nicola Kelly, her husband Paul and three delighted kids discovered 17-week old Buster in their back garden at their home which is close to the park.
The Kelly family recognised Buster after receiving a leaflet through their door which offered a £500 reward for his return.
The charity which Nicola runs SupERkids in East Renfrewshire was also given Buster’s finders fee of £500.
Buster’s Get Together brought pooches from all over after they learned about his story on Facebook.
