A TWO-YEAR-OLD boy has been rushed to hospital after he falling from a flat window.

The child fell from the window of the flat in Kirkwood Street in Rutherglen at around 4.15pm on Tuesday, August 23. It is not known how far he fell.

He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital and police say their enquiries are ongoing. His condition is not known.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Police were called around 4.15pm on Tuesday, August 23, after a child fell from the window of a flat in Kirkwood Street, Rutherglen. 

"The two-year-old boy has been taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital and police enquiries are ongoing into the incident."
