Unexploded device discovered on beach at Moray Firth
An unexploded bomb has been discoverd on a beach on the Moray Firth.
The beach at Rosemarkie, on the Black Isle north of Inverness, was cordoned off following the discovery of the device at around noon on Tuesday.
The coastguard were alerted to the find, believed to be an old military ordnance.
A bomb disposal team has been called and will carry out an assessment of the device on Wednesday.
