A celebrated Indian choreographer is to bring a high-octane performance of dance and music to Glasgow’s Tramway theatre tomorrow, Friday 21st and Saturday 20th October at 7.30pm.

Aditi Mangaldas, pictured during rehearsals for ‘Inter-rupted’ at the Scottish Youth Theatre with her Delhi-based dance troupe - Aditi Mangaldas Dance Company, will combine one of India’s main forms of classical dance with 21st century sounds and movement. Kathak – the word means “story” – was once told by travelling bards in northern India.

Ms Mangaldas, who is considered a visionary maverick back home, produced the show as part of the India@UK2017 dance and theatre festival.
