The Scots schools that will be closed on Friday as weather chaos continues
SCHOOLS across Scotland will be closed again on Friday as the effects of the Beast of the East continue to bite.
Councils that have announced schools will be closed on Friday are: Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee, Falkirk, Renfrewshire, Fife, Angus, Midlothian, West Lothian, South Lanarkshire, North Lanarkshire, West Dunbartonshire, East Dunbartonshire, Stirling, East Ayrshire and Clackmannanshire.
In the Argyll and Bute council area, schools in Helensburgh and Lomond, and Bute and Cowal, will remain closed on Friday.
