Glasgow ’will not go out on a limb’ over alcohol promotions
Justice Secretary Kenny MacAskill was warned yesterday by Scotland’s biggest licensing board that it will not go “out on a limb” to enforce a ban on drinks promotions in supermarkets and off-licences because the legislation is not strong enough to support it.
